Robert and Margaret came in the "William" from County Antrim Northern Ireland
to Boston in 1718. From Boston they journeyed to the frontier village of
Worcester, Mass. Presbyterians were not welcome there, so Robert and family
soon moved to Portsmouth, N.H. where they set up a fish oil factory. When
this burned Robert and the rest of his family went south to Donegal, Penn.
Only their son Finley stayed in New England.
